“ Ciro's was one of my dad's favorite restaurants. I remember when I was in grade school, and he'd take the whole family to eat at what I think was the original location on Business 83 in Alamo. It was small and modest but always packed. I was telling my husband how my dad would order a botana for 3 for our family of 5, and it was enough, and we sometimes even had food left over. He had a hard time believing me until he saw our botana for 2. I don't think we ate half of it between the three of us. Our server recommended the botana with fried fish, friend shrimp, and beef fajita. He mentioned that this option had the most food and it was plenty. The service was great!! We will come back more often. ”
“ Had my mom's birthday party with a reservation for 40 people, and they were able to accommodate us easily. Even extending the table when we had even more guests show up than expected. Tables and seats were ready prior to reservation time, and they offered to refrigerate our cake and cupcakes until we were ready to sing/ present. Servers were courteous and started getting our orders as soon as we were showing up. We did order botanas for everyone, and the soups, chips, guacamole, etc. were brought out almost right away, which helped the wait for the main platter. The guitarists came by later in the evening to offer their services, if requested. This is the second time we have had a large party here and probably won't be the last ”
